Part-time/Seasonal Staff (at least 16 years old)

Martin’s Dreamery Creamery & Coffee House is a 1950s themed ice cream parlor and coffee house. We are located in Oviedo and are looking for people to join our team for summer work. This could extend past summer into a non-temporary job. Although we are hiring for summer help, we are prepared for people to begin employment sooner.

**At this time, we are only looking for those that are at least 16 years old.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, with a smile on your face. Customers are our lifeblood and we expect them to be treated as such.

Candidate(s) must be available to work evenings and weekends. Typical shifts last 4-6 hours.

For this position we are looking for someone who has at least 1-2 years experience within the food/beverage industry. The ideal candidate would be someone with previous opening or closing experience and who doesn't always need to be told what to do next. They would know how to keep busy even during slow times. This person would always have a smile and welcoming presence to our customers.

Throughout the day you will need to:

Take and fulfill customer orders
Work both independently and with a team
Be very attentive to detail and be able to follow a multi-step process
Find a way to stay busy even if it's a slow time of the day

Requirements:

Ability to use a POS and perform cash register operations (training provided)
Detail oriented with an energetic and positive attitude

At least one (1) year experience in customer service - preferably in the food service industry

Some light lifting may be required (< 20 lbs)

Must be available to work weekends

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour + tips
